Clinton, Missouri welcomes Crappie Masters to Truman Lake in 2010!

The Clinton Convention & Visitors Bureau is very excited to announce that Crappie Masters will be coming to Truman Lake not once, but TWICE in 2010! The first time will be for a qualifier tournament on June 26. Then after a series of other tournaments over the summer, the National Championship will take place on Truman Lake October 5-9.

We invite tournament qualifiers and their families to fully experience Truman Lake and the Clinton area during your stay. Visit our historic downtown, which includes the largest downtown square in the state. Tour the Henry County Museum, take a stroll on the Katy Trail, and enjoy a swim at the Artesian Pool or Indoor Aquatic Center. For your stay, you'll want to book a hotel, dine at a few of our favorite local restaurants and maybe even visit a few unique shops before heading home. You'll be happy to hear that Clinton, Missouri has plenty of boat parking! Our hotels have boat parking and hook-ups, and many of our restaurants also have ample boat parking. Tournament fishermen are eligible for some great discounts at local businesses!

You may even want to visit the US Army Corps of Engineers online to learn more about Truman Lake and check out the lake levels.
