The City of Clinton's Parks and Recreation Department oversees the operation and management of city owned parks, ball fields, green spaces, soccer fields, neighborhood parks, the Clinton Communtiy Center, the Benson Exposition and Convention Center along with a 50 metered outdoor swimming pool and the indoor Clinton Aquatics Center. In addition to these facilities and parks, the Parks and Recreation Department offers seasonal youth and adult programming.

The ClintonParks and Recreation is now accepting registrations for the 2012 Men’s Slowpitch Softball League. Registration deadline for entering a team is Monday, April 9th. To register a team you must come to the Community Center or call 660-885-2181 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM. No team will be allowed in the league after the April 9th deadline. League fees, schedules and rule changes will be discussed at the league meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 10th.
